Short answer
To play Go Fish online with friends, create a free private room, choose two to four seats, and share its invite link, six-character code, or QR code. Friends can join in a modern browser without creating an account or downloading an app.
You do not need an account, download, or shared device to play together. One person creates a private pond, sends the invite, and the table keeps every hand synchronized in real time.
PLAY GO FISH ONLINECreate a private room
Choose Play, enter a display name, select a table for two to four players, and create the game. You become the host and receive a six-character room code, a copyable invite link, and a QR code.
Invite your friends
Send the direct link through your usual group chat. Friends who open it are taken to the correct room and only need to choose a name. Someone nearby can scan the QR code instead of typing the room code.
Start without waiting
The host can begin as soon as two real players are present. If the group is still waiting after a short time, add bot players to fill empty seats. A real friend joining a bot-filled waiting room replaces a bot automatically.
Play on any screen
The same room works across modern phones, tablets, laptops, and desktop browsers. Each player sees only their own hand. Turns, card transfers, books, reactions, and Pond Talk messages update for everyone.
Keep the room friendly
Names and chat are filtered, and the host can remove someone from a waiting room before the cards are dealt. Turn timers keep the table moving, and an automatic move prevents an inactive player from stopping the game.
Play again with the same group
When a game finishes, use Play Again to return the group to a fresh table. You can also share a new room link whenever you want to bring in a different set of friends.
